Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Abul Hasan Nawab, the chancellor of University of Religions and Denominations in Qom, issued a statement condemning the recent insults to the Holy Quran, the text of which is as follows:

The frequent and planned insults of some European citizens towards the Holy Quran, beyond individual unwise actions, show the hatred and anger of political and cultural leaders in the West, who in the era of secularism and secularization in the new world, which marginalized religion from the text, They witness the growing commitment of Muslims to their religion and religious sanctities and their efforts to bring religion to the stage, an event that is progressing both in the Islamic world, and even in Western countries, it has become a source of inflame for the agnostics and anti-religionists.
Undoubtedly, these disgusting behaviors, which are certainly not pleasing to many western citizens, violate the sanctity of religion and morality, and do not promote human rights in any way. Regardless of the sanctity of everything that is attributed to the divine sphere, naturally no intellectual and moral system can justify the violation of those sacred things, considering the sensitivity of Muslims who have become an important and influential component in America and Europe today; which human principle allows the stimulation of these sensitivities or to arouse these feelings of hatred among people?
The University of Religions and Denominations condemns these disgusting behaviors that take place in front of the security institutions of European countries, and warns the Western governments of the uncontrollable consequences of these atrocities and warns them and all ill-wishers that such inhumane behaviors doesn’t weaken Muslim beliefs, but their religious beliefs will be solidified, by awakening religious passion in them, it will become a factor and a sign for the continuation of the life and dynamism of Islam and Muslims.
